Is Kenpo Karate Right for Me (or My Child)?

Parents and adults often share the same worries before starting — here are the most common concerns we hear, and why they don’t need to hold you back:

“I need to get in shape before I start.”

Starting is the first step toward getting in shape. Classes are structured for beginners and experienced students alike, with instruction that supports your goals no matter where you’re starting from.

“My child is too young… or I might be too old.”

We work with students ages 3 through 60+. Everyone begins at their own level, and instruction is tailored to each student’s abilities and goals.

“We’ll feel behind or out of place in a group class.”

You won’t be thrown in unprepared. All new students start with four private Intro Lessons to learn the basics, meet the instructors, and feel comfortable before joining a class.

“What if we try it and it’s not a good fit?”

The Intro Course is a low-pressure, low-commitment way to test it out. You’ll know quickly if it’s right for you — with no long-term obligation.
